The Jersey Employment and Discrimination Tribunal is able to deal with many employment matters.  Before you decide to take a claim, you may wish to talk to the Jersey Advisory and Conciliation Service which is in the same building.  They will be able to advise you and give you the correct forms.

Citizens Advice Jersey also holds Application Forms and guidance notes for making a claim.

If you win your case for unfair or constructive unfair dismissal, the money given is called compensation and is based on how long you have worked for your employer.

If you have been responsible for some behaviour that led to your dismissal, any amount awarded might be reduced.
