Residents leaving Jersey - Tell Us Once (7.5.9)

Extent: Jersey
Updated 16 June 2016

There is now an online form that residents can complete to inform that they are moving away from Jersey.  Once completed and submitted, this form notifies:

-        Social Security Department

-        Taxes Office

-        Health Department

-        Education (if they are leaving with a child of school age, Education will notify the relevant school)

-        Parish (in which they last lived)

-        GP surgery (if the customer indicates they want us to tell their GP)

Previously unless the customers contacted each department, parish and GP separately to inform that they would leaving, their details would remain on various systems resulting in unnecessary letters, communications etc.

As a result of this form it is now much easier for customers to let us know they are leaving the Island.
