The Education Department website has detailed information about the procedure parents need to follow in order to apply for a child’s place at school. Registration forms are on the website too.
Children start school in the September of the school year in which they have their fifth birthday.
School places in Jersey are allocated based on ‘catchment areas’. Living in a school’s catchment area means that you will be given priority over families that do not.
There is a map on the Department website which shows where all the schools are.
