Election - the process of choosing somebody or of being chosen by vote
1 The Referendum (Jersey) Law, 2002 was approved by the States on 18th June 2002 and came into force on the 15th November 2002.
2 The States may by Act resolve that a referendum be held on any matter.
3 A person is entitled to vote in the referendum if, at midday 21 days before the date of the referendum, their name is on the Electoral Register.
