Words you may need to know
Public entertainment - this covers anything the public might attend such as boxing matches, films, theatre, charity fundraisers etc
What is the Advisory Panel
This Panel was formed in 1987 to advise the Bailiff about the content of public entertainment.
However, since the Panel was formed standards of what is acceptable in entertainment have moderated and it is usually the public that decides what is acceptable or not by choosing whether to obtain tickets or attend.
Politically, public entertainment standards are now the responsibility of the Minister for Education.
