1 Emergency treatment for divers suffering 'bends' (decompression sickness), telephone 999 and ask for referral.

2 The recompression chamber is located in a converted bunker at the end of the Albert Pier. Treatment in the centre is provided by a team of volunteers led by a volunteer doctor.

3 Funding is by donation.
