Extra Care Services for "special needs" customers. Customers with special needs can request that their name is placed on a register which will enable JEC staff to take particular care when dealing with their electricity supply and accounts. Application forms available from their website.

Supply of electricity and other services to tenants

2. The Residential Tenancy (supply of services) Jersey Order 2013, came into force on 1st October, 2013. Under this law a tenant is entitled to a breakdown of any services that they are being charged for. A flow chart clearly showing how the law works is available by clicking here


3. The supply to lodging rooms must be fed from the main house board, but each room may have it's own meter.

4. Meters remain the property of the landlord, not the JEC.
